FBI Anti-corruption Series: Public Corruption

Continuing its annual tradition, the Anti-corruption Series marked another milestone with the graduation of this year's third course.

In the A.S. - Public Corruption course, participants delved into the intricate workings of FBI investigations, gaining insights into the comprehensive approach taken in the United States to address various forms of public corruption. The investigations spanned cases involving Federal Officials, Judges, members of the Legislative Branch (U.S. Congress), and individual State and local investigations, including those within law enforcement. The course was designed to equip attendees with specific techniques essential for investigating such matters. The law enforcement ethics component went further, addressing methods to identify red flags for officers potentially involved in corrupt practices. Through engaging case studies and discussions, participants were guided in implementing or strengthening processes and procedures within their agencies to combat corruption.
