IRS Financial Investigative Techniques course

On August 30, 2019, we concluded another successful FIT course with participating delegations from Albania, the Czech Republic, Moldova and Poland.

The Financial Investigative Techniques course focused on using financial investigative techniques and forensic accounting to identify, investigate, and solve crimes where financial gain is the motive of the crime. Participants explored methods to follow the money trail, identify assets for confiscation, and calculate the amount of illegal proceeds. The course was highly interactive and participant driven. The methods of instruction included: lecture with directed discussion, investigation studies, practical exercises, problem solving and role plays.

This course benefits individuals involved in investigating and prosecuting financial crimes, including; criminal investigators and their supervisors, money laundering and tax enforcement officials, financial analysts, and government prosecutors.

Congratulations to all of the participants! We are looking forward to hearing from you!
