FBI Cyber Crime Investigations Course

The Internet has introduced many new and unique crime problems and limitations as many traditional crimes have migrated to the internet. The FBI Cyber Crime Investigations course is one of the most important trainings in the ILEA program. This year we hosted this training between June 24-28. In this course, the students were introduced to the history and interworking of the Internet, as well as investigative tools and techniques to assist in their investigations, especially as it pertains to combating violent extremism. The topics included Business Email Compromise, Social Engineering, Digital Evidence Collection, Virtual Currencies, and many others.

The participating countries were Croatia, Georgia,  Estonia and Morocco.
