USSS Computer and Network Intrusion Course

One-week United States Secret Service (USSS) Computer and Network Intrusion Course concluded on February 28, 2020. This course was an intermediate level course designed for law enforcement personnel who collect and analyze various types of evidence from a live computer. Participants learned tools and techniques to collect and analyze an assortment of volatile and semi-volatile evidence. This knowledge applies to a variety of cyber-crimes and is useful for examining both victim and suspect computers. Electronic crimes computer fraud and telecommunications fraud were explored, with particular emphasis being given to current international schemes. Technology, tools, and equipment available in the law enforcement arena were presented to the participants.
