On June 27, 2017, ILEA hosted another Women’s Network Salon on 6/27/17 which will promote the importance of STEM education for girls. ILEA screened the movie “Hidden Figures” which is based on the true story of how NASA found untapped talent in a roup of African-American female mathematicians that served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in U.S. history; the launch of John Glenn into orbit. This event coincided with a STEM camp that will be held in Hungary for girls from the region.
