ILEA Alumni Event in Moldova

On September 12, INL Chisinau and ILEA Budapest convened 11 Moldovan alumni of ILEA Budapest’s 2018 Anticorruption Series at the National Anticorruption Bureau (NAC) for a working discussion on national anticorruption efforts. Moldovan alumni reviewed techniques learned from FBI, ICE, IRS and OPDAT in corruption cases, stressing the importance of collaborating across agencies on investigations and prosecutions. The day culminated with 60 Moldovan ILEA alumni coming together for a reception at Ambassador Pettit’s residence. Moldova has participated in 22 ILEA trainings since 2015.
